A Brief History
TenthPlanet Open Source Foundation started in 2008, is an open source community serving the needs of job seekers and helping them get their first jobs and or become job creators. The foundation has been supported with the profits from TenthPlanet Technologies till date. Foundation’s programs has evolved over a period of 8 years and is designed to suit different sets of unemployed graduated youth.

TenthPlanet Open Source Foundation’s (TPOSF) purpose is to create jobs. The foundation carries out specific initiates to help job seekers get employed and or become job creators using the best of open source technologies.
What started as a cohort of helping job seekers find their first job evolved as a true open source movement.
